Zhong-Qiu Zhaoreceived the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent system from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, he held a post-doctoral position in image processing with the CNRS UMR6168 Lab Sciences de Information et des Systȿmes, La Garde, France. From 2013 to 2014, he was a Research Fellow in image processing with the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. He is currently a Professor with the Hefei University of Technology, Hefei. His current re- search interests include pattern recognition, image processing, and computer vision.
